Bob’s bio
Bob is a medically retired NSW Police Officer with over 30 years experience. He performed operational duties in both metropolitan and country regions before moving into a number of specialist commands including Education and Training. During his career he was awarded The National Medal, The Police Service Medal and the Commissioners Olympic Citation for duty during the Sydney 2000 games. Towards the end of his career, Bob also had experience with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Co-Morbid Depression and anxiety.

A strong advocate on behalf of mental health awareness, Bob now imparts his life experiences throughout a range of community and sporting groups in an attempt to raise awareness of issues and remove the stigma surrounding mental health. A married man with two adult sons, he resides on the south coast of NSW and is actively involved in community and sporting groups in his local area.
